Summer is officially over, and it’s time to take advantage of the current deals and position ourselves to squeeze as much juice out of this game that we possibly can for the remainder of 2026.
Also, there’s an important concept that I consistently see people botch on the Twitter/X timeline that I need to address. If you’re new, pay extra close attention because you’re quite literally leaving tens of thousands of dollars in points on the table if you don’t get this right.

Beating a Dead Horse
I have no idea who this guy is, and don’t mean to call him out specifically…
It’s more of the same concept that I see over and over and over again on the X timeline.
People think that they’ve discovered something magical whenever there is a new shiny object in the form of a new credit card offering.
Whenever there is a new card, whether it’s 3%, 4%, or even 5% back (just for example, the highest on all spend is usually 3%)…
It gets dwarfed by the amount we can earn by consistently getting multiple Amex signup bonuses a year, particularly business cards.
Per above, even after you factor in the annual fee, your point per dollar while working on Amex SUBs is well over 10% during that period, so the 3% card is a total waste.
