how much min. volume in sets per month (or spend per month) do we need to pull out on sets for this to be worthwhile? :)

That's a subjective question. What is a worthwhile number for you?

if I bought, say 100 sets worth $20 each, that's $2k. and lets say it can have a $2k+ return in time if the investment pans out, which is great.

But now I need to have a legit storage for the 100 sets, for the potential $2k return. and then sell those later.

So a much smarter way to ask the question, what are the levels of work/time that come with each level of investment? (like 10k in legos might mean multiple spreadsheets, a warehouse or storage unit, and someone to help with shipping fast if the price is right suddenly)

and then the worthwhile number is immediately clear to me and then BOOM, legos away 😎

Storage is perfectly relative.

Investing in 100 sets? It will require X amount of storage.

Investing in 1,000 sets? It will require 10x the amount of X.

Time requirement depends on if you are doing the labor or paying someone to.

I myself use a prep center that stores and ships. I don't ever see or touch my LEGO so the time investment is mainly just:

1. Creating a hit list of sets

2. Buying them in Q4 when sales are present

3. Managing a spreadsheet with inventory and telling my prep center how many units of which sets to expect any given week

Would it be feasible & profitable to buy them in the USA and have them stored in a warehouse for like 12-18 months? Btw,I am based in Spain. Thanks
